Our Story

Founded in 2022, our team of passionate technologists, marketers and industry experts set out on a mission to help make cycling more accessible and affordable for all.

Key to this was making bikes and e-bikes more affordable as the industry is already well-established with more than 2.5 million active users in UK, and growing rapidly.

It became clear that traditional cycle-to-work schemes have not kept up with the times. They seem unwilling to sell cheaper and lower margin bicycle hire products, and remain focused on more lucrative bike ownership deals.

CycleSaver was born out of this gap in the market, and launched as an innovative provider of cycle-to-work benefits, catering specifically to the increasing number of individuals who prefer bike hire options.

CycleSaver allows cyclists to take advantage of huge benefits available to them via HMRC's cycle to work scheme but fore those who prefer bike hire, a first in the UK.

Proudly a member of CoMoUK

We are the only cycle to work scheme that is a member of CoMoUK, the national organisation for shared transport; a charity for promoting its social, economic and environmental benefits.

Helping you achieve BCorp

Our cycle to work scheme helps companies achieve B Corp status by aligning with B Corp values (environment and workers) and demonstrating commitment to sustainability and employee well-being.

UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) alignment

We are proud to have aligned our services with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly goals 3, 11, and 13, through our innovative salary sacrifice cycle-to-work subscriptions. By facilitating access to affordable cycling commutes via partnerships with bike hire companies like HumanForest, Beryl and TfL Santander Cycles, we're actively contributing to these goals in the following ways:
